The Hibernian Supporters Association has taken the decision to close their membership for the current year.
With Hibernian’s – continued and welcome – success on the pitch translating into increased crowds on matchdays and with pre-match provision for supporters reduced at Easter Road following the closure of the Behind the Goals bars, demand for membership has hit record levels in recent months.
To ensure that all our members can enjoy their matchday experience at The Hibs Club the committee has announced that no new membership applications will be accepted after 17 August 2017.
As members will already be aware the committee had previously agreed that entry to The Hibs Club would be restricted to members only before Saturday home games this season.
That will again be the case for tomorrow’s game against Hamilton and our next home league fixture against Motherwell on 16 September.
Members and visitors will be able to use the Club before the League Cup game against Livingston on 19 September.
Updates on any changes to these decisions will be communicated to branch secretaries and shared via our website and social media channels.
