It’s that time of year again when The Hibs Club welcomes our senior citizen members to their annual Christmas dinner dance.
Pensioners Dinner Dance – Wednesday 11th December 2013
As always the evening will involve a meal followed by entertainment – and no doubt some enthusiastic dancing.
The dinner dance is our way of saying a massive “thank you” to our longest standing and most loyal members.
The Pensioner’s Branch request that all members attending RSVP by Sunday 1st December – RSVPs can be returned to The Hibs Club at Sunnyside.
A fundraising raffle is also being held to support the Pensioner’s Branch – tickets are now available behind the bar and it would be great if as many members as possible supported this worthy cause.
The Pensioner’s Branch is also always grateful for any support branches can offer – either through financial donations or by donating a prize to the raffle held on the evening of the Dinner Dance.
A lot of hard work goes into organising the evening and it’s always great to see as many branches and members as possible helping out the Pensioner’s Branch.
How it works
- All members automatically become members of the Pensioner’s Branch when they reach the correct age as long they’ve been a full member of the club for at least five years (it’s up to branch secretaries to inform The Hibs Club’s registrar of any changes)
- They remain members of their branch – the Pensioner’s Branch is an additional bonus
- Pensioner’s don’t pay for their membership – they’re reaffiliated for free every year
- Each year the Pensioner’s Branch holds a summer day out and the Christmas dinner dance
- The Pensioner’s Branch is self funding through collections on match day, donations from branches and the annual Christmas raffle – so please give generously!
Tickets for the Dinner Dance are delivered by post – if you didn’t receive yours then please contact The Hibs Club
