The Hibs Club is delighted to be hosting a night of award-winning comedy and drama on Thursday 5th June as Scottish play Three Women is performed at Sunnyside for one night only.
Written by Fatima Uygun, the play focuses on three feisty, foul mouthed, elderly, ex-miners wives who meet each week to gossip, reminisce and shoplift, with some choice language included!

First performed in 2013 the play won rave reviews with delighted audiences revelling in its performances and infectious humour.
Fatima says:
“I am fascinated by how shopping centres have replaced resources liking miners’ welfares, churches and Labour Clubs as places where people come together. In some of the towns I visit, they really are the hub of the place. Often, the richness of the language and the sense of community in these places is inspiring.”
