What is Ewing’s Sarcoma
Leon’s condition – Ewing’s Sarcoma – is a very rare form of bone cancer. It affects fewer than 30 children across the UK each year.
Leon’s treatment included chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant before the cancer returned in May of this year.
This summer he was chosen to carry the Queen’s Baton in Edinburgh in the build-up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He’s also been invited to the Hibernian Training Centre to meet the Hibs team and to watch a game from the Director’s Box at Easter Road.
